DialoX Platform 3.20 release - 2024-09-02

Today we released version 3.20 of the DialoX platform. The release notes can be found here.

We enhanced WhatsApp conversation handling in the inbox by supporting message replies and allowing users to see message emoji reactions. We also introduced features like license provisioning APIs, new Text to Speech models, AI token counting in BubbleScript and an improved operator ordering in the inbox.

Important for partners: We have created a studio feature that limits the access to possibly sensitive data of your customers. From now on you continue through an access screen to be able to see the contents of contacts and conversations. Access is automatically granted but it will then leave a record in the audit log of this provided access. You can find this in our manual https://manuals.dialox.ai/administration/access-requests.

DialoX platform release 3.18 - 2024-07-22

Today we released version 3.18 of the DialoX platform. The release notes can be found here.

We are gradually adding more support for mass communication using Whatsapp. In version 3.17 we already added a Campaigns page to manage and plan Whatsapp broadcasts. This enabled studio users to schedule the sending of Whatsapp templates to multiple specified Contacts at a specific point in time in the future.

Now we added in the Contacts section of the Studio the ability to:

  • see tags in the Contacts list

  • set tags to individual contacts in the side bar

  • set tags to multiple contacts at the same time

  • filter on tags

This way it is easier to define a Whatsapp campaign for a specific group of contacts. Check out the manuals for more information.

DialoX platform release 3.16 - 2024-06-24

Today we released version 3.16 of the DialoX platform. The main focus of this release is an improved experience around inbox notifications via push and e-mail.

Using the new inbox messages setting, you can now choose to be notified about every new message instead of only newly escalated conversations, by enabling the "Inbox messages" toggle in your notification settings page.

When you choose to be notified by email, it will only send one email, 15 minutes after the end-user's last message. This way you will not be spammed with email when an end-user sends multiple messages in a short period of time.

You can also toggle to also be notified outside of office hours now. This was requested by customers with smaller teams, so they never loose a conversation or message.

There are many more features and bug released, the details of which can be viewed in the technical change log.

DialoX platform release 3.12 - 2024-04-30

The focus of this release was an overhaul in the foundational data model of the platform.

We have completely redesigned the foundation of the elements that are responsible for keeping track of what the customer is entitled to use in our platform. We have done this by completely refactoring Accounts into the following new entities: Customers and Licenses. In Administration under Organisation, you will now find a new environment level called 🏠 Customer. When you click on a Customer you will see an object that looks like the former Account, showing the limits and entitlements for this Customer, see https://manuals.dialox.ai/administration/licenses for more information.

In the Studio section you will find that both the Bots page and Orders page are consolidated into one page called Home. This page will show all the bots that are installed in your environment, grouped by the license they are using. Using drag and drop you can easily install or move bots around over licenses. This makes it possible to easily switch a Bot from one license to another, effectively switching it from channels. For example, you can have one license with a bot running on your central Whatsapp phone number. Now you can simply drag the bot out of the license and drag another bot into the license to have it using the same Whatsapp number. See https://manuals.dialox.ai/studio/home for more information.

DialoX platform release 3.7 - 2024-02-05

This release contains both platform changes and changes to the bot templates and skills.

Platform changes

The tickets that are deployed as part of this release are described in our change log here. The high lights are:

  • Usage reporting is now available on account level in the Administration section.

  • Orders are now also visible on account level in the Administration section.

  • The Inbox is now completely styled according the Enreach Design system

Bot skills and templates

The Smart IVR, Call Deflector, Smart Voicemail, Web App and Social Inbox templates can now be upgraded with new versions of the Base flows, Phone flows and Chat flows skills that finally make use of a platform feature already introduced in version 3.5 of the platform that allows for first class support for Variables inside Flows, see the manuals for more information.

Studio release - 2024-01-08

Tonight we've deployed version 3.5 of DialoX which contains important changes that lay the foundation for future improvements. These foundations allow for the following, still feature flagged, features:

Local intents

By introducing local intents, as alternative to the current global level intents we are able to offer intent recognition capabilities that require less examples. This is possible because local intents will only be used in a specific context, which reduces the scope of the classification which therefore allows the classification to be performed by a LLM (large language model) which requires even less examples. This way the local intents can be trained with as little as 2 to 3 examples as opposed to the 15-30 examples for the regular intents that are pretrained on our own Bert based intent classifier or Google Dialogflow.

Variables

Another greatly desired feature is to be able to use variables in flows in a more user friendly way. Up until now, variables can be used in text by using the #{var_name} syntax. This is a quite cumbersome way and prone to typo's. In the coming weeks we will be working on an update of the Flows skills that allow for variables to be defined upfront and then picked from a list when composing your node text instead of typing it in using the above syntax. This will increase the quality of your bots while making them quicker to design.

Studio release - 2023-09-26

We are proud to announce the release of version 3.0 of our conversation AI platform. Version 2 has brought a lot of new features since early 2020 with 57 steadily paced releases: Voice channels and WhatsApp became first class experiences and Flows changed the way you can build simple automated conversations.

With version 3.0 we have laid the foundation for leveraging the new generative AI models like ChatGPT directly in the core of our platform. This will allow for more fluent automated dialogues with less training as well as supporting Agents with tasks like summarising the conversation or suggesting answers.

Over the last months, we have also been working hard creating an enhanced and more integrated user experience of the Social messaging inbox. The new inbox is mobile optimised, allowing you to switch seamlessly between the desktop web, mobile app and embedded version of the inbox leveraging web and native push notification to keep you in the loop.

Studio release - 2023-03-28

The Botsquad studio has been updated to version 2.52.0 and the Bot skills are updated to version 1.5.0. See the platform release notes for all details.

The main improvement of the Botsquad studio is the addition of a brand-new notification system for the studio. You can now set your notification preferences for all the bots and environments using a single configuration form which you can find in your profile.

You can choose to receive your notifications in both push messages to your browser as well as per email.

With the Notifications drop down (bell icon in the upper right corner of the studio) you can always find the most recent notification messages.

See the new notifications section in the manual for more details.
