DialoX Platform 3.0 release
We are proud to announce the release of version 3.0 of our conversation AI platform 🎉
Since early 2020, platform version 2 has brought a lot of new features with 57 steadily paced releases: Voice channels and WhatsApp became first class experiences and Flows changed the way you can build simple automated conversations.
With the new version 3.0, released in september 2023, we have laid the foundation for leveraging the new generative AI models like ChatGPT directly in the core of our platform. This will allow for more fluent automated dialogues with less training as well as supporting Agents with tasks like summarizing the conversation or suggesting answers.
Over the last months, we have also been working hard creating an enhanced and more integrated user experience of the Social messaging inbox. The new inbox is mobile optimized, allowing you to switch seamlessly between the desktop web, mobile app and embedded version of the inbox leveraging web and native push notification to keep you in the loop.
Embedded Inbox
The inbox has been completely rewritten in a new technology stack (Phoenix Liveview), which gives it a more lightweight footprint and faster loading times making it ideal for embedding in other platforms like Teams and Slack but also Enreach Contact and Enreach Omnichannel.
The new inbox features advanced functionality like auto translation (shown below), enabling you to converse with customers in any language; and team chat to involve your colleagues directly in the conversation by mentioning them.
The Microsoft Teams inbox integration is particularly noteworthy. You can now navigate directly from the channel notifications to an embedded inbox tab in Teams, where the full range of inbox functionalities are readily available, like the typing indicator when the customer starts responding, making the interaction more engaging and real-time. Say goodbye to the necessity of mentioning @EVA to respond back to customers!
The new inbox is available from the studio upper right corner “apps menu” (nine dots), by upgrading to the latest version of the DialoX inbox app in the iOS / Android appstores. For MS Teams, contact us to upgrade your current installation.
New login
As part of the new inbox we have also updated the login page to use the same technology stack and implemented a fresh new style.
Though the login pages were completely rebuilt, everything should work as you expected. You can still login with Google or Microsoft and use 2-factor authentication to protect your account. Note that due to the domain change you may have to update your password manager.
New domain
As you may have seen we have gradually moved away from the name Botsquad for our platform and with the 3.0 release we will now also remove the name from the domain. DialoX will be available on the URL https://studio.dialox.ai or https://inbox.dialox.ai
You don’t have to change anything as the old URLs will remain active and redirect to the new domains when applicable. The bsqd.me domain used for the short links, webhooks and APIs will stay active.
While DialoX symbolizes the new face of our platform, we retain our roots with the Botsquad name, representing our dedicated team that continues to innovate and push boundaries.
Roadmap
Though the foundations for generative AI functionality was built and tested with a small group of customers, the Agent features and skills are not yet generally available. You can expect the following features to be announced and released for version 3 in the coming months:
Automatic QnA based on knowledge articles
Automatic end of conversations summary
Agent assist suggesting answers
Topic based routing (few shot learning)
